Vaccination Requirements

Boarding & Grooming Vaccination Requirements

At Cinco Ranch Veterinary Hospital your pet’s health and safety is our #1 concern.

Prior to a pet’s arrival, Cinco Ranch Veterinary Hospital must have a formal vaccination record from a licensed veterinarian indicating that your pet is up-to-date on the following vaccinations:

Dogs:

  • Distemper/Parvo (current for puppies)

  • Rabies (current for puppies)

  • Bordetella

  • Both Strains of H3N2 & H3N8 Influenza

  • Both Strains of H3N2 & H3N8 Influenza

Veterinarian Holding a Brown Cat

Cats:

  • FVRCP – Feline Distemper

  • Rabies

  • Leukemia (required for cats that go outside)

Parasite Policy

ALL PETS MUST HAVE A CURRENT INTESTINAL PARASITE CHECK DONE WITHIN THE LAST YEAR BEFORE ENTERING THE HOSPITAL.

All pets must be FREE of internal & external parasites (fleas, ticks & intestinal parasites). All pets will be checked thoroughly upon arrival for fleas and ticks. Should a pet be found to have any internal or external parasites, they will be treated immediately, at the owner’s expense.
