Dr. Brown grew up in Houston, Texas and enjoyed spending time as a child on the farm with her family. When she was 8 years old, she got to experience first-hand the joys of veterinary medicine and decided then, a career in veterinary medicine was her dream. Dr. Brown has a special interest in internal medicine and believes the key to optimal pet health is through owner education and close communication. Her kindness and compassion for both people and their pets is the foundation of the bonds she is able to create with clients.
Dr. Brown graduated from Texas A&M University and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She is an author of several published articles based on case studies and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. Brown and her husband of over 12 years are enjoying raising their son, Connor. She also shares her home with her two rescued dogs, Cooper and Lil’ Bit. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and taking her pets out on their next hiking adventure.
