Kim was born and raised in Georgia and never saw veterinary medicine as a career path until she moved to Houston, Texas. She got a job as a kennel technician in a veterinary hospital and found that not only was she passionate about it, but she had a natural talent for it. Eventually, she enrolled at the Vet Tech Institute of Houston and graduated with her Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2012. She then went on to pass both the national and state boards to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2014. Kim then found her home at Cinco Ranch Veterinary Hospital in 2015 and has become an integral part of the team, always growing and learning. Over the years, her roles have changed within the hospital, but you can still find her helping her team wherever there is a need because she believes the foundation of an exceptional manager is to lead by example. As the assistant manager, the well-being and happiness of the patients, clients and staff are her number one priority and she is determined in making sure everyone’s needs are met with satisfaction.
