Abby joined Cinco Ranch Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Technician in August 2025. Originally from Texas, she graduated high school in New Jersey in 2021 and has always known she wanted to work with animals. Abby is currently pursuing a path toward becoming a veterinary technician, with a special interest in equine and emergency medicine. She previously attended college for dental hygiene but quickly realized her passion truly lies in animal care.

Growing up, Abby was surrounded by horses, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even leopard geckos, making the animal field a natural fit. She has worked in the equine industry since the age of 15 and especially enjoys assisting veterinarians—even with routine procedures like vaccines. Her fascination with veterinary medicine started young; at just 10 years old, she watched (and even got to poke!) a 10-pound tumor that a veterinarian had removed, sparking her interest in the more hands-on—and sometimes “gross”—side of the field.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys photography, especially capturing photos of dogs. She also loves to travel and often plans her trips so her dogs can come along—they enjoy hiking and swimming together. At home, she has two dachshunds, Junebug and Teddy, who are her constant companions. Abby brings enthusiasm, experience, and a true passion for animals to the team every day.
